Are there resources available to Coursera students?

Answer

The short answer is, yes, there are resources available to Coursera students!

Online resources and library research services are available to all students. This is true regardless of whether you are on-campus or off-campus. To access online resources like ebooks and articles from off campus, you will just need to login using your MyIIT portal username and password.

If you are a Coursera student who is located off-campus, we recommend consulting our guide for distance learners, which has the most detailed information on resources available for distance learners. You can request scanned portions of physical items using our interlibrary loan service, MyILL, and if you are located within or near Illinois, you can request physical items.

If you are located close to campus, you can additionally visit the library and check out materials! If you have a HawkCard, you have the same building access as other students. If you do not have a HawkCard, you can still visit when we are open to the public - consult our visitors policy FAQ for hours. Regardless of whether or not you have a HawkCard, you will be able to check out materials.

If you have any questions about the resources available to you, please don't hesitate to contact the library directly to learn more.
