Illinois Tech students, faculty and staff who currently work for, or are enrolled at Illinois Tech have access to all services offered at Galvin Library. The HawkCard is required to borrow materials. Here is an overview of library services by patron type.

Building Access 

We are open to Illinois Tech affiliates (students, faculty & staff) and members of the public for research and educational purposes. You may view our hours on our website.

Members of the public, including Alumni, may enter and use the library during the day before 6 pm. The library is accessible only to Illinois Tech affiliates during evenings and overnight. Find out more information on our visitor policy.

 

Onsite I-Share charges 

Illinois Tech affiliates (students, faculty & staff) are eligible for onsite I-Share charges.
