Does the library have lockers?
Yes! The Galvin Library provides lockers for short-term use within the library.
Library lockers are for the use of current IIT students, staff, and faculty for day-use only. They are not intended for long term storage and will be emptied at 10pm each Wednesday.
Items left in the lockers after 10pm on Tuesdays will be added to the lost and found at the Circulation Desk and are subject to the Lost and Found Policy.
Food, drink, and hazardous materials are not permitted in the lockers. All library materials should be checked out before being placed in a locker. Galvin Library reserves the right to open lockers and inspect their contents for library materials, perishable items, or items that may be hazardous.
Galvin Library is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
