How do I create a library account?

You don't need to create a library account. If you are affiliated with Illinois Tech, your library account is automatically created at the beginning of each semester. You can sign into your account via IIT Portal.
If you are new student, your library account won't be activated until school starts.
You can use your library account to:
- Renew your books online
- Create and save lists of materials to your e-Shelf
- Request books to be put on hold or delivered to your nearest campus library
