Q. Can I get a reserve book?

We are not currently loaning out physical textbooks in our Reserves collection. However, we are scanning chapters from reserve textbooks and making them accessible online through the library's catalog. The chapter you need might already be viewable in the catalog, but you may request additional chapters to be scanned and made available to view online. Follow these steps to make a scanned chapter request:

1. Locate your textbook using the library's catalog.

2. In the "Get It" section of the textbook's page, select "Digitization"

3. Include the chapter that you need scanned in the form. Please submit one chapter per request; if you need multiple chapters scanned, please submit separate requests for each chapter.

4.Click "Send Digitization Request".

The pages will be scanned within 1 to 3 business days and you will receive an email notifying you that the scanned chapter is available to view. To view the scanned chapter, locate your textbook in the library's catalog again. You will see all currently scanned chapters listed in the "View Online" section, and you may view them in your browser.
